hmmm...
well, its true that halal foods are easy to get nowadays, but due to the fact that there are too many of them which makes it hard to identify which foods has past the quality test as there are some irresponsible manufacturer who abuse the word halal itself. But needless to say that as long as you don't feel suspicious about what you're eating, it's okay because everything were considered halal except those which were forbade by Allah.;)

kalau dlm kaedah fiqh, selagi mana tiada bukti di atas sesuatu maka tidak akan merubah sesuatu hukum kepada "tidak"@ haram..kan?

Very observant of you.
Imam Syafie state that everything is halal(permitted) except those that were forbade according to Qoran and Prophet saying(hadith).
Same for Imam Hanafi except that what he said is the opposite of what Imam Syafie said:Everything is haram(forbade)except those that were permitted according to those 2 sources above.Thats why we can find some contradiction in what Syafiean and Hanafian said.
